The End of Terrorism is at hand

                                                                                         

Israel is being accused of State Terrorism against her enemies - terrorists. What is wrong with this picture?

Terrorists carrying, planting, and exploding bombs, shooting rockets and missiles, have murdered thousands. These are the very same people, and their State sponsors, Iran and Syria, who are making the accusation against Israel. This, after kidnapping three Israeli soldiers and holding them as bargaining chips trying to extort prisoner releases. At least this is what it appears to be. Appearances, as we all know, can be deceiving.

It is interesting that all this took place just days before the G8 meeting. On the agenda of the meeting was to be a discussion about sanctions against Iran for its nuclear ambitions. Is it possible that Iran created the Middle East crisis to say to the United States and other nations - "you push us, we can push back"?

Intelligence sources agree that Iran and Syria are partners in supporting groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah who have sworn to destroy Israel. They have been supplying money and weapons to these groups and, therefore, have tremendous influence over them.

Talks are underway to end the violence but Israel has had enough. She intends to destroy her enemies, one way or another. She wants them pushed far into Lebanon so their rockets and missiles cannot reach northern Israel. She wants an international force to patrol the area to keep her enemies at bay.

Egypt and Saudi Arabia have publicly criticized Hezbollah and have called on Israel to cease fighting. But, privately, they hope Israel succeeds. Many other Arab leaders are working behind the scenes as well to end the violence. They realize that Hezbollah's tactics are not beneficial to the Arab cause, or the cause of Islam, around the world.

The question is - When will the world, like Israel, have enough and join together to rid us of the terrorist scourge?

All groups have a right to promote their dogma but not to enforce that dogma at the point of a gun. Talking, not shooting, should be the way forward.

People have the inherent right to choose whom they will follow and whom they will elect to represent them. The world is faced with a minority of radicals trying to do maximum damage to freedom. This minority must be crushed.

Forget about the United Nations, by the way. They have proven to be corrupt and impotent. It will take others, like Israel, the United States, the new Iraqi government, and Britain, to name a few, to take a stand against these criminal actors.

It's time for freedom to take root in the Middle East. Israel's battle against radical elements of Hezbollah and Hamas, and, the U.S. War on Terror in Iraq can be catalysts to finally crush the criminals who have used innocents as an excuse to impose radicalism upon the world. Every freedom loving nation should take the cue and make eradicating these killers the number one priority.

As one watches the news programs in Mainstream Media we see the spin doctors doing their work. They paint Israel as the aggressor and the United States as a co-conspirator.

It's also interesting that the terrorists are demanding U.S. intervention to stop Israel from protecting her people. It's not surprising to watch programs such as Meet The Press, BBC News, and PBS Newshour spin the story against Israel and the Bush Administration.

We gave up watching NBC, CBS, and ABC news a long time ago due to bias reporting. Oh, I do check in on them from time to time just to see if they have restored ethical journalism standards. I am constantly disappointed that they continue to think that we cannot see through them. They wonder why they continue to lose audience to other forms of Media.

Despite what these spin doctors peddle, President Bush is right in supporting Israel.

Is there any other nationality who has such a terrible history of being victims of hate and eradication as Israel? Who can honestly deny Israel's right to defend herself, her right to destroy her enemies? Israel was struck first. Innocent Israeli's were killed first.

There was also much criticism of the delay in sending Secretary of State Condi Rice to the Middle East. This delay was the right tactic. The longer we wait, the better chance Israel and Lebanon have of finally controlling Hezbollah.

This group of killers must be disarmed and forced to work within the political system and allow the Lebanese people the freedom to decide the way forward. While Hezbollah has elected members of Lebanon's Parliament, elements of Hezbollah, thus far, have used the point of a gun to force their will. This must end and Israel may succeed if given enough time.
