The new seven wonders selected some time back include the Great Wall of China, Petra in Jordan, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, Machu Pichu in Peru, Chichen Itza pyramid in Mexico, Colosseum in Rome and Taj Mahal in India.

All these man-made creations which are located in different parts of the world have a very spectacular sight. The Great Wall of China stretches over 6400 km all along the country’s border. The statue of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil is also 39.6 m tall and weighs 700 tons and is placed at the peak 700 m high. An archaeological site in Jordan, Petra has always wooed people who come and become spellbound. A very spectacular view is provided by the Machu Pichu in Peru. A very different and surprising structure is the Chichen Itza Pyramid in Mexico which was made by the Mayan civilisation. The Colosseum in Rome and Taj Mahal in India are also two amazing sights that are included in the Seven Wonders of the World.

All these beautiful sights have to be seen to be enjoyed thoroughly. The Seven Wonders of the World have some great magic to them. One can visit them and have a memorable experience for life.
