Many intellectuals have argued over this very completed question. What is religion?
According to Webster religion is a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny. Is it really that or is it even worth fighting over it when clearly we can’t find an answer to that question. Humans have fought over religion for many centuries. For as long as we can remember one of the main causes of war’s between two nations is religion.

Religion comes with cultural differences. Different people with different religions with different languages and totally different can some time is so tolerant of other people that you can’t tell the difference. Unfortunately though in most cases people usually judge other people from there religion and culture. People seem to believe that their religion is the best and true. People believe in there ancestors religion and in most cases are so closed minded that they don’t even want to hear a good word about some one else’s religion or culture. As you could have guesses by now that religion and culture go hand in hand. For example the red dot a Hindu women’s head. Its part of there religion but to an American women it’s strange. Another example is that Muslim’s have arranged marriages. In there religion dating is considered a sin so to them it’s natural to get an arranged marriage, to a European it’s strange that they don’t know there life partner before the night they wed.

When religion is considered many people believe that other people can be a bit raciest to them. It is kind of true. Freedom of religion is our first amendment right, but our judicial system isn’t perfect yet. Judges are human and even though they don’t realize they sometimes make there choices on the person religion and culture. For example many people not only black people but many white people believe that sometimes our judicial system is not entirely fair to our black population. It does not only involve our black population but also our other immigrant population. If freedom of religion is our first amendment right then why does our federal and state government let this happen? This is the question many people ask them self. It has an easy enough answer though. Government usually does not interfere with cases until they reach the Supreme Court’s level. Even though the trial stays in the record and government officials can view it any time they like they don’t interfere with it on a local court base.

When dealing with religion the question that comes to my mind is that if almost all of us believe in a God. As long as we believe in a God why does religion even matter? Is religion not one’s own business? There own spiritual journey toward heaven or hell. Should not other people leave them be to find there own way home? By making some one believe in there God. Do people think that they are doing some one a favor? If they don’t really want to believe in God then by using other means and making them believe in your god is not doing them any favors. If religion is indeed one person’s spiritual journey then they should not they be allowed to embrace there god in there own way?

After saying that I want to say that talking or sharing ideas about some one’s religion is not a bad thing to do. Actually to a person who is unhappy in his religion. It is a good thing to be open minded. It would probably help them find there way home.

Weather it cultural or religious differences people are people. Most people in different part of the world live the same way we do. In Japan children go to the school parents go to work. Watch baseball eat dinner. Just because Japanese people don’t believe in a God does not mean that they are bad or good. It’s the individuals that count in the battle between good vs. bad.

The fights we over religion are not going to do any one any good. All they do is shed a lot of blood and make enemies for no reason at all. Every one should be lest alone to carry out his or her religious believe in his/ her own way. After all if you are forced to worship some god you don’t want worship. It’s not going to make the matters any better. All it’s going to do is make the matters worse in the ways we can’t even imagine. It’s the heart that counts. if your will is strong then use it to make your self a better person don’t waste your energy in hating people from different parts of the world just because they are not white or because they a have a red dot on there head’s or because there religion is different.
