Comparative Study between the Bible and the Quran (49) - C: The third part (I)
(Chapter 49:1-5)

The Old Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Joseph accused his brothers of thieving his silver cup.
The New Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Jesus appeared first to Mary Magdalene who did not found him in his grave.
The Noble Quran Verses from 1-5 are talking about Allah prohibits the immorality and warns us to fear Him; He is is Hearer of our sayings Knower, of our deeds. Those who adopt the ethics and morality will have forgiveness of their sins in the and abundant reward in Paradise. Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful; Allah is just and He loves those who are fair and just.

The Noble Quran:

Chapter 49 in the Noble Quran is AL-HUJRAAT (THE PRIVATE APARTMENTS); it is composed of 18 verses.
Verses from 1-5 are illustrate the how should be the relation between the professor and the students.
---------------

Verse one says:
O you who believe!
Be not forward in the presence of Allah
Do not start with any word or action until the Messenger of Allah commands or prohibits you first;
It is also said that the verse means: do not start immolating your sacrifices on the day of immolation (and His messenger) until you receive Allah's command and the command of His Messenger;
It is also said that the verse means: do not oppose the Messenger; and it is said this means: do not contravene the Book of Allah or the practice of His Messenger,
And keep your duty to Allah, fear Allah in relation to saying or doing anything without the command of Allah or of His Messenger, and do not oppose the Book of Allah or the practice of His Messenger.
Lo! Allah is Hearer of what you say, Knower of your works.
This was revealed about three prophetic Companions who killed two men from a tribe that the Muslims had a peace treaty with them, without being commanded to do so by Allah or by His Messenger.
Allah, glorified and Exalted is He, forbade them from engaging in any matter without a command from Allah or His Messenger.

Verse two says
The following verse was revealed regarding those who raised their voices in the presence of the Prophet Muhammad:
O you who believe,
Do not Lift up your voices above the voice of the Prophet
Do not insist in talking when the Prophet is talking,
Do not shout when speaking to the Prophet
Do not call the Prophet by his first name as you would do with one another
Rather you should reverence and honor him and address him by: “O Prophet of Allah” or “O Messenger of Allah”
Lest your good works be nullified for failing to observe propriety and reverence towards the Prophet Muhammad while not knowing that your works are nullified.
What is the wisdom of this verse?
This verse illustrates the how should be the relation between the professor and the students. The verse emphasizes the respect and the honor that have to be shown by the students towards the professor.
(the professor herein is represented by the prophet who was teaching Allah's messages and the students are represented by the believers)

Verse three says:
The following was revealed regarding those who used to lower their voices in the presence of the Prophet:
Truly those who lower and subdue their voices in the presence of Allah’s Messenger, those are they whose hearts Allah has cleansed and purified (unto righteousness) from sin; it is also said that this means: those are they whose hearts Allah has made sincere to the profession of Allah's divine Oneness. Theirs will be forgiveness of their sins in the life of the world and immense reward and abundant reward in the Garden, Paradise.

Verse four says:
The following was revealed regarding a group of people who came to see the Prophet during the midday [resting] period while he was in his house, and called out to him: Truly those who call you from behind the apartments, the [private] chambers of his womenfolk, and it happened that each one of them called out, in that rough and crude Bedouin manner, from behind one of the apartments, as they did not know in which apartment he was, They called: “O Muhammad, come out to see us”, while he was sleeping. Allah censured them for doing so, saying:
(Lo! those who call you from behind the private apartment, all of them (have no sense) do not understand Allah's command or divine Oneness nor the reverence and the exalted status due to Allah's Messenger.

Verse five says
And if they had patience till the Prophet comes forth unto them for the prayer, it would have been better for them; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. He forgives whoever repents of them, and He is Merciful in that He did not hasten His punishment on them.
---------------

PICKTHAL: lo! those who call thee from behind the private apartments, most of them have no sense.
YUSUFALI: those who shout out to thee from without the inner apartments - most of them lack understanding.

49:5
QARIB: if they had patience until you went out to them, it would have been better for them. but Allah is the forgiving and the most merciful.
SHAKIR: and if they wait patiently until you come out to them, it would certainly be better for them, and Allah is forgiving, merciful
PICKTHAL: and if they had had patience till thou camest forth unto them, it had been better for them. and Allah is forgiving, merciful.
YUSUFALI: if only they had patience until thou couldst come out to them, it would be best for them: but Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful.
