Allah is the Forgiving, He forgives whoever believes in Him

                                                                                         

Many people do not know Allah. This series is an attempt to help them in order to know and acknowledge their Creator.
Verses 35:25-28 of the Noble Quran says that: 1) Allah is Almighty in His dominion, 2) if the disbelievers deny you O Muhammad; how many Messengers which Allah has sent were denied?, 3) Only those who have knowledge fear Allah and the ignorant do not fear Him and 4) Allah is the Forgiving, He forgives whoever believes in Him.

The meaning of verse 35:25:

And if the disbelievers deny you O Muhammad: those before them also denied; those before your own folk, the have also denied their messengers. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs of Allah's Sovereignty; they came to them with commands, prohibitions and signs, and with the Scriptures and with the events of the Scriptures of the people of old ,giving light, expositing the lawful and the unlawful.
In other words, their messengers brought them manifest signs, miracles, and with scriptures, such as the scrolls of Abraham, and with the illuminating Book, namely, the Torah and the Gospel, so endure patiently as they endured.

The meaning of verse 35:26:

Then I seized those who disbelieved, I punished (those who disbelieved) in the Scriptures and messengers, and how intense was My abhorrence! My rebuttal against them by way of punishment and destruction, in other words, it was appropriate.
See, O Muhammad, how I turned against them with chastisement when they rejected faith.

The meaning of verse 35:27:

Have you not seen, have you not realized, that Allah sends down water from the heaven, wherewith We bring forth (there is here a shift from the third person [to the first person] address) fruits of diverse hues, such as green, red, and yellow [fruits] and so on? And in the mountains are streaks which is a mountain trail or the like white and red, and yellow, of diverse hues, some intense and some pale, and [others] pitch-black?

The meaning of verse 35:28:

And of humans, cattle, and other creatures, there are diverse hues likewise, like the diversity of the [hues of] fruits and mountains. Of all, there are also different colors. Indeed only those of Allah’s servants who have knowledge fear Him, in contrast to the ignorant, such as the disbelievers of Mecca.
In other words, the erudite among His bondsmen fear Allah alone) He says: from among all His servants, it is the erudite who fears Allah.
Truly Allah is Mighty, in His kingdom, in His dominion. Allah is the Forgiving, of the sins of His faithful servants. He forgives whoever believes in Him.

Verses 35:25-28 in different English translations of their meanings:

Verse 35:25
QARIB: if they belie you, those before them also belied. their messengers came to them with clear signs; the psalms, and the illuminating book.
SHAKIR: and if they call you a liar, so did those before them indeed call (their messengers) liars; their messengers had come to them with clear arguments, and with scriptures, and with the illuminating book
PICKTHAL: and if they deny thee, those before them also denied. their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's sovereignty), and with the psalms and the scripture giving light.
YUSUFALI: and if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with clear signs, books of dark prophecies, and the book of enlightenment.

Verse 35:26
QARIB: then i seized those who disbelieved, and how was my rejection!
SHAKIR: then did i punish those who disbelieved, so how was the manifestation of my disapproval?
PICKTHAL: then seized i those who disbelieved, and how intense was my abhorrence!
YUSUFALI: in the end did i punish those who rejected faith: and how (terrible) was my rejection (of them)!

Verse 35:27

QARIB: did you not see how Allah sends down water from the sky and with it brings forth different colored fruits? in the mountains there are paths of various colors, of white and red, and jetblack.
SHAKIR: do you not see that Allah sends down water from the cloud, then we bring forth therewith fruits of various colors; and in the mountains are streaks, white and red, of various hues and (others) intensely black?
PICKTHAL: hast thou not seen that Allah causeth water to fall from the sky, and we produce therewith fruit of divers hues; and among the hills are streaks white and red, of divers hues, and (others) raven-black;
YUSUFALI: seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky? with it we then bring out produce of various colours. and in the mountains are tracts white and red, of various shades of colour, and black intense in hue.

Verse 35:28
QARIB: people too, and beasts and cattle have their different colors. but it is only those amongst his worshippers that fear Allah who have knowledge. indeed, Allah is the almighty and the forgiving.
SHAKIR: and of men and beasts and cattle are various species of it likewise; those of his servants only who are possessed of knowledge fear Allah; surely Allah is mighty, forgiving
PICKTHAL: and of men and beasts and cattle, in like manner, divers hues? the erudite among his bondmen fear Allah alone. lo! Allah is mighty, forgiving.
YUSUFALI: and so amongst men and crawling creatures and cattle, are they of various colours. those truly fear Allah, among his servants, who have knowledge: for Allah is exalted in might, oft-forgiving.
