When it comes to developing a routine that is going to enhance and maintain a person’s beauty there are many steps that can and need to be taken. There are a number of elements that need to be considered such as protecting the outer layer of the skin from the weather and pollution. Also the outer layer of the skin will need to be protected from the intensive UV rays from the sun.
When it comes to sun protection do you really need to apply a sun lotion or sun block to the skin on a daily basis as there are now many skin creams and lotions that contain some form of sun protection, and this is needed to prevent the skin from burning and additional damaged being done such as premature ageing.
But when it comes to sun creams what is safe? There are suggestions that the chemicals in such products actually do more damage to the skin than the actual rays from the sun. The option is to therefore use products that are natural and organic which do not contain any chemicals and will even be suitable for those with even the most sensitive skin types.
With all the scare stories about being in the sun for too long, many people are actually now scared of exposing their skin to the sun for a long duration of time simply because they do not want to burn, they do not want to age prematurely and they most certainly do not want to run the risk of developing skin cancer.
But some exposure to the sun is essential because the skin needs Vitamin D in order to stay healthy but the question needs to be asked just how do you know when you have been in the sun for long enough without running into any risks?
Well the actual answer is just fifteen minutes. This is enough exposure to the sun to give you the Vitamin D that you need and not causing yourself any harm and during this time there is no need to actually apply sunscreen. This is of course based on the fact that you spend no more than fifteen minutes in the sun.
But people very rarely spend this amount of time in the sun especially if they are to go on holiday and they are heading towards the beach. In fact you are likely to spend hours in the sun and therefore you are going to need to apply sun lotion or sun block, and one that should be organic and have a high enough SPF.
The reason you need to go organic is to stay away from the chemicals and this needs to become a rule, as you would not consume such ingredients so there is no reason to apply them to the skin either.
When it comes to selecting beauty care products for your face it is important that you check all the ingredients and that you are aware of what the most active ingredients are. Make sure that the ingredients are all organic and the product itself is certified as organic.
