Just when you think there’s nothing else to be done about looking younger, someone invents something new, this time it’s carbon dioxide injections. It’s probably too early to say whether this new trend in skin care and anti-aging technology will have long-lasting positive effects or whether it is completely safe but, so far, it’s looking promising. However, while carbon dioxide injections may make you look better, to take full advantage of them and prevent further deterioration, you also need to get healthier. And that takes a little more work. Find out more about carbon dioxide treatment and the other skin care measures you should take to look good.
How do carbon dioxide injections work? The gas is injected under the skin and dilates the blood vessels. The blood vessels can then carry more oxygen to the cells, which then supplies the skin with more nutrients. The oxygen also prevents fluid build-up between skin cells and encourages production of collagen. The carbon dioxide is also said to more or less vaporize fat.
Reports from those who’ve had carbon dioxide injections, which are inexpensive compared to similar skin care treatments and, for most people, relatively painless - also indicate the treatments really work. They reduce jowls, lines, wrinkles, cellulite, and stretch marks, improve skin tone, and even out coloration. Some people have dramatic results, some are slight, but no one so far has reported no change whatsoever.
However, at least one woman who was advised to make other changes in her life, her doctor told her to eliminate junk food, didn’t get results anywhere near as dramatic as others. She found out that there’s a lot more to anti-aging skin care than going under the knife, or the needle.
What else should you be doing? In addition to getting rid of junk food, take lots of anti-oxidant supplements, get enough sleep, exercise, and eliminate as many chemicals as possible by using non-toxic household cleansers and natural skin care products. You also need to protect yourself from environmental chemicals and pollutants with a good shielding lotion. Shielding lotion, another breakthrough in skin care technology - bonds with the outer layer of the skin to form a new protective layer that prevents the absorption of harmful chemicals and pollutants.
With all the benefits, the carbon dioxide injections business is bound for glory. However, to get the most out of it, make sure you make the lifestyle changes necessary for a truly healthy skin care treatment routine. And don’t forget the shielding lotion!
