If there is one thing I have learned it is that you need to market your business if you want to succeed, especially on the Internet.

I love building websites.
I enjoy coming up with a plan.
I even like writing articles.

But marketing? Yuck!

However, you really can have your “cake and eat it too” using the best article directory list system. Simply put, you find out what people want to hear about and give them exactly that. It’s almost too easy to be true, but trust me it is true.

Here are the steps
(1) Discover and niche down your chosen topic using Google.
(2) Use your results as your articles title.
(3) Ad in affiliates from places like ClickBank.
(4) Submit your work to the article directories.
(5) Rinse & repeat till you get to where you are going.

In the case of this article I wanted to write about “Article Directories”. If I put those words in Google WITH quotes I find that I have 1,580,000 competitors. Niching this down I arrive at 237 competitors using the long tail keyword phrase of “The Best Article Directory List”. I’d much rather compete against 237 than 1 million, wouldn’t you?

The nice part about this system is that the title is practically already written. I just add the word “strategy” and we are ready to go. Be sure to include the long tail keyword phrase once at the beginning and once at the end, but don’t get carried away.

Next I find the affiliates I want to promote. This part can be responsible for numerous E-books all by itself, but the main thing you need to keep in mind is that whatever affiliates you use need to match the niche audience you are attempting to reach. It’s easiest to do this with E-books from places like ClickBank.

Now it’s time to send your writing to the article directories. You might be tempted to just use a tool like article submitter from SEO & Keyword Elite, and I would recommend it; but WAIT! Before you do that make sure that you have profiles and information setup with the major players that you will be using.
