As a rule of thumb it is considered to be significant if the landscape to the left of our home (from inside facing out) is elevated than the land to the right of our home. Alternatively you may also create the effect with lights. In the back of the house, plant a nice healthy tree that will have leaves all year long.

Also, make sure that you don’t have any “arrows” pointing towards the front door. This could be in the form of a tree, a pole or even a street sign. Block this from your view when you open the front door by creating a nice effect with plants and short shrubs. In some cases I have even noticed homeowners put a metal creeper climber and grow beautiful creepers it. Alternatively you may also use artificial creepers to decorate the metallic decoration.

Avoid growing cactus plants inside the house and bonsai plants near the front door.
