Pure, clean and fresh...water, that is

                                                                                         

Pure water. We all want it. What is the best way to obtain it? Buy it in bottles? Use water filters? Osmosis? Reverse Osmosis? Purchase a distillation system? Sound confusing? It can also be costly. How do each of them work?

Water bottles is the most simple way. You can even buy it online.

Distillation systems can be purchased for your entire house. Yes, for a measly $1,000 to $4,000, you can purchase an entire system that will.....take the chlorine out of the water. Some of them will actually take out a few of the “impurities“ (no clarification as to which of the many impurities they may be referring to). Add to this the annual cost of between $250 and $800 to run your system and you can have chlorine free toilet water! As my kids would say, “cool beans!” Yeah, right.

Water bottles are more economical...given that I don’t necessarily need chlorine -free toilet water. Actually, I like the thought of a little chlorine to help keep my toilet free of bacteria.

What about osmosis? Remember science class?

Osmosis is the diffusion of water through a cell wall
or membrane or any partially-permeable barrier from
a solution of low solute concentration (high water
potential) to a solution with high solute concentration
(low water potential), up a solute concentration gradient.

WHAT? All it really means is that fluid absorbs through the membranes to equalize the concentration of materials. Couldn’t they just say that?

Water bottles. You buy them, you drink them. It’s that simple.

How about those easy to get, but often-replaced carbon water filters? All they do is improve the taste and the smell of the water.

My vote is for easy to carry, convenient water bottles.

Do a little research for yourself. Find out that there are water companies who DO take the care and concerns you have into consideration. Things like: Pure. Natural. No added....anything. Not just tap water that has been lightly filtered, but wholesome, cool, and natural.

Now that’s cool beans.
