This is because they need reliable and educated folks who will take all enquiries and answer all calls from interested customers. Call center jobs can either be temporary or permanent. Many students in India do this during their summer break and are happy about it. The nature of the job often requires a bit of training. The rest is left to you to try and figure out. Call center agents are often required to possess an infinite amount of patience when transaction with a customer. This also includes when you are being verbally assaulted by a customer from halfway around the world. Therefore, you are trained to be as detached as possible. This however, doesn’t guarantee that you will not be angry. You can get angry but just do not let it show. Call center agents are also required to be fluent in the necessary language. For now, the most popular is english, but in other countries and continents like Asia, the language used is the mother tongue.

As a call center agent, you would have to work in shifts and this includes the night shift. Call center jobs and workers often earn between $24000 and $50000 per annum. This amount of money is very attractive for many fresh graduates and work period per week is between 40hrs and 56 hrs.
