The hug a thug and take a punk to lunch bunch
The question today is; why do young students continue to kill each other on our school campuses?
We ask ourselves the questions: Why did it happen? What was the overriding cause? Could it have been prevented? Will it happen again?
To answer that, all we need to do is to take a very critical look at our modern American social structure.
Our theater screens, music, and television programs are overflowing with violence, pornography, blasphemy, hatred, bigotry, even death.
There is so much sex being shown you can't even watch a family program without being seriously embarrassed.
Our justice system is so mired down with law suits, petty crime, staggering case loads, plea bargains, and judicial shortages, that it is a wonder anything gets done at all. Justice is often no longer blind, it depends on who you are, whom you know, or how much you're worth.
The heroes many of our teenagers worship are mere athletes, masters of their sport, making absurd salaries that would feed, clothe, and house a small town for a year. Some who even advocate sex, perversion, and drugs. Other heroes are mass murderers like Hitler, or musicians with degenerate morals.
In the majority of American households, both parents must work or the family cannot survive, which often leaves the children and teens to fend for themselves, to make moral or ethical decisions they are not mature enough to make.
Lately, the word's politician and corruption have become almost synonymous. Bleeding heart liberals - the take a punk to lunch gang- continue to pour billions and billions of dollars into pathetic programs that will never work, but do buy millions of votes.
They live by such idiotic slogans as, "Hug a thug," or "Don't help a good boy go bad, remove temptation."
Horse Potatoes! Good boys don't go bad. Good kids don't steal cars, rob stores, shoot innocent people.
Even some of our top leaders have displayed morals that would make a mongrel dog puke.
Moral values, family values, work ethics, and religious attendance have declined to frightfully low levels.
Drug proliferation, crime, crowded prisons, racism, sexual perversion, psychotic acts, have reached epidemic proportions.
I could continue on and on, however, just writing this article makes me wonder if I really am, "living the American dream," or am I somewhere else?
Don't get me wrong, I love our country, I have fought and bled for it, but what I see happening today - really scares me. Maybe Armageddon is closer than we realize.
I am a firm believer in the separation of church and state, I wouldn't want to live under a fanatic Islamic state nor any religious state which dictated what I may or may not believe.
Unfortunately, I believe we are throwing away the good with the bad. Our children may wear Nazi symbols to school, paint their nails and faces with satanic inscriptions, practice black magic, spread love of Satan and evil, burn our flag, persecute Christian or Jewish students, and engage in a wide plethora of immoral or suggestive activities, often without notice. And, you can forget paddling them - the hug a thug gang will slap a law suit on you faster than a New York minute.
However, can children pray to God in school? Can they read their Holy Bible, or Koran, or Book of Mormon? Can they pass on the wonderful words and wisdom of the gentle Prince of Peace who teaches love, forgiveness, charity, hope, caring, understanding? Many schools ban shirts with religious messages, but allow swastikas and death heads or acid rock pornography.
We permit unchecked rampant evil to flourish and spread among us because we don't want to "step on someone's constitutional rights."
Malarkey!
I think it's high time we told our legislators that the days of passing laws to "protect" pornographers, neo-nazis, Satanist, murderers, rapists, child molesters, homosexuals, and the rest of criminal society, are over, kaput!
What we want and demand is a return to common sense laws, common sense justice, common decency, real social equality, and high morals and values.
Tell them to lead, follow, or get the heck out of the way.
