Skin toners are necessary for all skin types. Skin toners helps to improve blood circulation to the skin surface and gives the skin the glow that is associated with its good health. You can also make a natural skin toner at home. Tomato juice is a good skin toner.

How to choose best toning product

Despite claims to the contrary, fresheners, toners and astringents do not close pores. As a Matter of fact, no cosmetic product can alter the actual size of the pores. What really happens after using these products is a mild irritation of the skin. This results in swelling of the skin and so the pores appear less prominent.

Tips for skin toning

Rub wit a piece of potato over the face and neck and wash it off after 15 minutes. This is very effective for oily skin and can be used with moisturizer for dry skin.Moisten cotton wool with skin toning lotion and put it on cheeks, chin and neck. Mineral water diluted with rose water is used for dry skin. Apply it gently with the cotton avoiding the eye and upper cheek area. piece of cotton should be used with astringent lotions.
