San Francisco, the food city, is known for its expensive food and wine. But it is not so as you can find several budget eateries that offer good food.
Canto do Brasil, as the name suggests, is a Brazilian restaurant that doles out the greatest hits of Brazilian cuisine. The waiters are friendly and will help you with their suggestions. On Saturday nights there are dancers to entertain you while you enjoy your food. Caiphirina, a Brazilian cocktail made with sugarcane liquor, or the soda spiked with guarana, an Amazonian stimulant similar to caffeine is a local favorite.
My Tofu House serves Korean cuisine and the specialty is Soon-Dubu Chigae- a spicy stew of soft tofu, vegetables, and a choice of meat or seafood. They serve really spicy food; too spicy for the spice lovers as well.
Bill’s Place has got a nice courtyard with a Japanese garden. They prepare their own beefs and French fries so its quality is guaranteed. It is known for its celebrity hamburgers; designed by and named after celebrities. It has won several awards including the Best American Restaurants in United States.
Pacific Catch, a specialty in sea food restaurant presents Asian and Latin American flavors. The cozy little restaurant with service is friendly and polite. If you don’t want to stay inside then there are outdoor tables where you can enjoy your food on a sunny day.
Pork Store Cafe serves great breakfast. Contrary to the name they also serve vegetarian dishes. Though it is often crowded on weekend mornings and early afternoons, it is a place not to be missed.
Grove is a brunch restaurant with a very relaxing atmosphere. The menu includes delicious sandwiches, salads, oatmeal raisin, choco-chip cookies and more.
So is a small Chinese restaurant therefore gets crowded sometimes. It dishes up different varieties of noodles. These home made noodles are very fresh because they are made only when it has been ordered for.
If you want to taste Japanese cuisine then Tokyo Express Teriyaki House 2 is the right place. It is the favorite lunch spot for those who love sushi as the sushi served here is tasty and luscious.
Dol Ho is the right choice for those who love dim sum. They also serve Asian and Chinese cuisine which includes Chicken Feet with Black Bean Sauce, Beef Tripe with Ginger Onion and more.
Gyro Kebab is a good restaurant in San Francisco for Greek, Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. The service is very friendly and fast. The casual and relaxing atmosphere of this place attracts people here.
