The one image you want to avoid is that of an uncaring corporation devoid of any kind of emotion or personality.

Over the years this kind of company has come to symbolize what’s wrong with big business, which seems to care about nothing more than driving up the profits.

How true this perception is really isn’t the point. The fact that people will look at a company through these kinds of lenses is what you need to be aware of. The smaller your company is the easier it is for you to overcome an image like this, but you should still take certain steps to ensure no one views you as just another corporation.

A great way to get away from this kind of look is to print greeting cards.

Now, this may not seem like a particularly big step towards adding personality towards your company, but quite often it’s the small things that really make a company stand out from the competition.

When a person first walks into your building, what kind of impression do they get? I might suggest performing a test by going outside and walking into your own building as if you were a complete stranger.

Forget about all the things you know and focus on only what you see and hear upon first walking in. Watch how your employees react to other people coming in, the kind of mood and feel that a person is presented with.

What you want is for them to immediately feel welcomed by everything about your office. The look of the building, the look of the furniture, and the way your employees interact with them should be personable and friendly. This is where you can print greeting cards to help add another element of personality to your company.

Get both a greeting card and a thank you card done at a printing company so that when you first introduce yourself to people you have that greeting card present to introduce them to your company. Once you’re done doing business with them make sure you have a thank you card ready to send to them afterwards.

Of course, these gestures alone aren’t going to be enough to really make your company unique, but these are the kinds of little things you should consider to find a starting place. Ask your local printing company what other services they offer you can take advantage of.

It make take something as little as a thank you card to really impress someone into coming back or passing along their good impression to friends. What may appear small to you isn’t always going to be the same to other people.

Make sure everything about the experience people have with your company is friendly and open. You’ll go a long way towards ensuring they’ll never look at you as just another faceless corporation.
