While 0% interest is always introductory and therefore temporary, a 0 APR credit card can be extremely useful while the rate lasts. In addition, many of these 0 APR credit cards offer ongoing rewards and rebate programs in addition to a low annual percentage rate that goes on after the introductory rate expires.

All fou major credit card companies each offer their own 0 APR credit cards, and these vary in terms of how long the introductory rate lasts as well as other terms. Therefore, it is in your best interest to shop around a bit in order to determine just what 0 APR credit card is best for you. Sometimes these interest rates are good on balance transfers only; other 0 APR credit cards are good for purchases as well. Keep in mind that many rewards and rebates are usually in addition to these introductory rates – all of which can save you hundreds, even thousands of dollars during the introductory period.

Chase Platinum MasterCard

This 0 APR credit card offers the introductory rate for a period of 12 months; in addition, balances that are paid in full each month remain interest free (balances carried over from month-to-month are at 11.24% after the initial introductory period). An additional perk offered by this 0 APR credit card is a car rental collision waiver and international travel accident insurance.

Chase Free Cash Rewards VISA Card

The introductory 0 APR credit card is good for the first 12 months on blance transfers as well as purchases. This card also offers rewards in the form of points that can be redeemed for gift certificates from participating businesses.

Chase Platinum VISA Card

Like the Platinum MasterCard, this 0 APR credit card also offers the introductory rate for 12 months as well as an interest-free grace period on balances paid in full every month. It also offers the same benefits as the other one; however, the interest rate is slightly higher.

Discover® More Card

The 0% introductory rate is good for either six or twelve months; cardholders can also earn cash rebates of up to 20% when shopping online with participating businesses. Once the introductory rate expires, the regular APR is a remarkably low 10.99%. Discover® also offers excellent customer service, 24/7.

Blue From American Express

This may be one of the best 0 APR credit card deals available. The introductory 0% rate on purchases is good for fifteen months – three months longer than any other 0 APR credit card. In addition, balance transfers from high-interest cards is locked in at an incredibly low 4.99% for the life of the balance – potentially saving you thousands of dollars in interest.
