Mannequins have long been known to be one of the best store displays for boosting sales that you could invest in. They personalize many items and allow you to display multiple items and accessories at once. It gives customers a real view of what certain items will look like when they are worn. It also encourages them to accessorize with the items that you choose from around the store. You can give them ideas of what to buy before you even speak to them.
Mannequins are wonderful eye catching displays that can be used anywhere in your store. Your storefront can be very inviting if you use mannequins to display the items that you are offering or promoting. Mannequins have an impact that is a step above any other type of store display.
People like to feel like they are displaying a feeling or an attitude with the clothes that they choose to wear. A mannequin helps to personalize an outfit and set a tone for the items that you are selling. People can identify with mannequins in certain settings and they may feel like they want to imitate that projection.
Now more than ever, people really like to project their style and attitude by the clothes that they wear. This is the driving force behind the fashion industry. Take advantage of this belief and use your mannequins to display how you want people to feel. If you are selling bath products and robes, arrange your mannequins in a spa setting. You want people to feel pampered like they are at the spa when they use these products. Not only will it help persuade them to purchase the product, but possibly the whole line of lotions, soaps and body oils. Furthermore, they may feel like the ultimate indulgence is to go the whole nine yards and buy the plush robe and slippers as well.
Use dim lighting with strategically places spotlights to create a mood, place focus on the products and personalize the setting as much as possible. If you can use your imagination to produce a feeling in your customers, then you have really accomplished something. Getting them into the mood makes them excited to shop at your store and gives them the feeling that they need these products to emulate the mood that you produced. Influencing the shopper is key in getting them to buy. Otherwise, they may as well buy your products on the street from someone’s trunk. The mood means everything when it comes to winning a customer over.
Use your mannequins to create this mood and sell more merchandise. You can influence people more than you may think with just a few simple settings.
