Here's a little known secret that I discovered on my way to becoming a millionaire before I was 35. With very rare exceptions, millionaires don't have nine to five jobs. And if they do, it's only because they enjoy what they're doing. It's not usually how they make the bulk of their money. Instead, millionaires have a system. Now, you won't hear about this from many millionaires. But, I've made it my job to change all that. I want you to know exactly how millionaires make – and keep – most of their money.

The big secret, revealed.
The system millionaires use is what I call the Wealth Cycle™. I refer to the Wealth Cycle in detail throughout all three of my Millionaire Maker books. In a nutshell, it's a structured cycle of earning and investing money that allows wealth to multiple exponentially.

Without going into great detail about the Wealth Cycle, I want you to know about one of the first and most important steps. It's the creation of a Cash Machine.

A Cash Machine is simply a business you create, or one you improve upon, whose entire purpose is to generate cash flow as soon as possible. A Cash Machine is not necessarily – and most of the time will not be – your dream job. It is simply the job that will bring in the most money today. It serves as a vehicle to get you where you ultimately want to be.

Surprised? You should be! In fact, the best cash machines are not jobs in which you work for someone else. Sure, you can make good money at your job, but after the IRS is done with you, you've lost a lot of your hard-earned money. And, to top it off, most people simple spend what's left over. That, my friend, is a Lifestyle Cycle, not a Wealth Cycle.

My client Patricia is a perfect example of creating a Cash Machine to catalyze the Wealth Cycle™. Patricia, a project manager at a web design firm, wanted to begin her own (profitable) non-profit. I knew that her non-profit would be just that: not profitable. Her dream was not a viable Cash Machine. To reach her goal, she needed a real Cash Machine.

Using the skills she already had, she created a new web design business that she could run herself and earn more money to start the non-profit.

The best part of making your Cash Machine a business that you run, is that you'll learn all the skills you need for running any kind of business. In fact, most millionaires run several businesses. I do. I've got my hands in a number of businesses, and all of them are making me money.

In time, Patricia's Cash Machine brought in enough money so that she could - with the help of a wealth coach, mentor and real estate specialist – invest in real estate opportunities that brought in even more cash. Patricia had successfully started the Wealth Cycle™.
