Pricing of the all new 2009 Infiniti FX luxury crossover SUV has been announced by Infiniti which goes on sale in the United States and Canada on June 4. Offering exceptional levels of power, refinement, and versatility and driving exhilaration, the all-new FX is a showcase of Infiniti’s design and technology leadership.
2009 Infiniti FX is available in three models, first the FX50 A WD with a new 390-horsepower 5.0-liter 32-valve DOHC V8 engine Variable Valve Event & Lift (VVEL), and the manufacture's suggested retail price for the FX50 AWD is $56,700, and the FX35 AWD and FX35 RWD with a 303-horsepower 24-valve DOHC 3.5- liter V6. The manufacturer's suggested retail price for FX35 AWD is $42,350 and for the FX35 RWD is $40,950. Each engine is paired with a new, standard 7-speed automatic transmission featuring Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) and available solid magnesium paddle shifters.
The new FX features an extensive list of available equipment and technology, along with an aerodynamic, rigid yet lightweight auto body parts structure and sporty FM platform. Plus the available Continuous Damping Control, Rear Active Steer, Intelligent Brake Assist and 21-inch super lightweight aluminum- alloy wheels designed by Enkei. Auto body parts provides a warm and modern interior inside the new FX, inviting environment highlighted by a driver-oriented cockpit with intuitive controls, available sport seating and advanced audio, navigation and technology - ranging from an 11-speaker Bose(R)-developed audio system to Infiniti Intelligent Key, available Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range) and available Around View Monitor system. The new FX offers an industry-first safety technology - Distance Control Assist (DCA), which reduces the burden of driving in heavy traffic by intuitively helping to release the throttle and apply the brakes to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. The Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) is also available, which provides forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, along with a Lane Departure Warning/Lane Departure Prevention system, which helps keep the vehicle in its travel lane.
The Technology Package, Infiniti Mobile Entertainment Package, Premium Package, Navigation Package, Deluxe Touring Package, Sport Package and 21-inch Summer Tires, these are the equipment packages included at the 2009 Infiniti FX.
