There’s always going to be that question: how much is too much?
When you’re trying to get people to come in and shop with you, you’re likely going to want to keep contacting them until they do. After all, if you use postcard mailing, how do you really know that they even got your postcard? Maybe it slipped out of the mail before they saw it, so you might have the urge to send another one just to be sure.
You have to strike an even balance between pushing someone to buy and just annoying them by repeatedly sending them things. The best way to figure out whether or not your going to become a nuisance is if you understand how much interest your different potential customers have.
The first kind of customer is the one who doesn’t even know who you are. They don’t have any interest in shopping with you because they don’t know you. The reason is because brochures and booklets are able to give a person more information about a company.
Your goal is to let these people get informed about what it is you do and why it is they should do business with you. With brochure printing and booklet printing you can make an advertisement that contains all the information a person will need.
The hope is that this first kind of customer will become the second kind, which are the customers that have interest. They might not have shopped with you before, but they likely know about your industry and probably know about you as well.
For people like this postcard printing will suit you better. These people don’t need a lot of information. What you need to do is tell them what your deals are and where they can find you. Use postcard mailing to send out a series of postcards mentioning upcoming sales or just your exact location.
Your job with these people is less about convincing them they need your product and more about getting them to remember you’re there waiting for them. Set up a good mailing list that contains a list of people who have purchased products similar to what you sell in order to get better results.
Your overall goal is to make these two types into the final one, which is the customer that wants to come in and buy something from you. If you keep in mind the type of customer you’re dealing with you don’t have to worry as much about annoying people. Just don’t use postcard printing to send a bunch of postcards to a new prospect that doesn’t know anything about your industry, or send a detailed brochure to someone who already knows everything they need to know.
