HTC, a well known mobile manufacturer, unveils the HTC Touch Diamond. It is a touchscreen Windows Mobile 6.1 powered smartphone that comes complete with TouchFLO 3D. The device is elegant in looks and grabs the attention of users - especially businessmen and executives who are short on time and require all the help that they get.

The users would find it easy to carry and hold, as it only measures 102 x 51 x 11.5 mm and weighs 110 grams. The touchscreen is smaller than the iPhone. But, still it is bigger than the average screen, as it measures 2.8 inches. The resolution of the screen allows the users to view the colored images, video clips, as well as simple text in greater detail.

The screen of the phone automatically flips from portrait to landscape orientations, when the widescreen is rotated. The HTC Diamond has Windows Mobile 6.1 at its core; it fully supports all the great enterprise and personal features. HTC Touch Diamond has an attractive glossy glass like finish. The backside of the handset gives an appearance that is quite like the Nokia Prism.

With the Touch Diamond, the users feel easy to locate any unknown place, as it comes with GPS functionality. Therefore, the users can hook it up with their favorite satellite navigation applications such as Google Maps and navigate between places without any problems.

Importantly, the handset is a 3.5G smartphone, as it allows the users to download data files at a comparatively high speed of up to 7.2MB per second. The HSUPA technology allows the users to enjoy high-speed uploads as well. Unlike other high-end handsets, it holds a variety of connectivity options such as EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth and USB 2.0. Apart from the multiple connectivity options, the device entertains the users with its FM radio, Windows Media Player and video playback. This compatible phone keeps the users engaged with official work, even on the move. As a matter of fact, it supports Microsoft Office documents and push email.
