When you’re on the internet and you need to find something, chances are, you head over to Yahoo or Google, or maybe MSN if you’re a diehard user. But why do you head to these search engines? Is it because you know them? You know their url? They’re comprehensive?
Chances are, you’re using Google and Yahoo because they’re major search engines and you just haven’t heard about anybody else. Maybe you’ve tried Altavista, but you’ve seen that it’s just Google without the flair (although interestingly enough, Altavista came first). You’re comfortable with Google and Yahoo, right? So there’s been no reason to switch.
Until now.
Unamoo is a new search engine that strives to be easy to use, easy to understand and easy to get used to.
Google, Yahoo and other major search engines are so bogged down with repetitive submissions, adult content, malware and phishing sites that it takes forever to distinguish between the real sites and the really useless sites.
Unamoo is different. The filters take care of the explicit and harmful sites and the users keep tabs on what appears in the search results and what doesn’t.
As an Unamoo user you can also kick back and relax when it comes to your privacy. They’ll never sell you out or use your information to target you with an explosion of ads and pop-ups like some other major search engines.
Aside from safety and privacy, Unamoo is also easier to use than other major search engines.
Imagine searching for a sci-fi aficionados review on Aelita: The Queen of Mars on a major search engine. You’ll have to sift through literally thousands of links that have nothing to do with reviews or have nothing to do with the movie at all. See: Aelita networks, Wisconsin University calendar of events. Of course there are plenty of links that do lead to helpful reviews, but it’s the inbetweeners that lengthen the process and frustrate users. To find these reviews on Google in great numbers you’d have to enter “Aelita Queen of Mars movie review” into the search bar.
On Unamoo, finding Aelita is much easier. Just type “Aelita review” into the new search engine, hit go and your results are ready in an instant, providing you with links that only go to reviews on the movie and places to buy it.
And the same goes for every other search you can perform on Unamoo.
All this in the comfort and protection of your own home, business or school, without the worry that your information will be stolen or sold, or that you’ll find yourself looking and pictures and falling into sites you never meant to find.
But why does Unamoo make it so easy and so user-friendly?
While Unamoo could be in it for the profits, like some of the major search engines, Unamoo is in it for you. The user. The makers at Unamoo know what’s it’s like to be frustrated with the internet. That’s why they created a search that’s powered by you and for you.
