Boxer dogs are popular dogs, right? From the day they were first exhibited, Boxer dogs amazingly gained the hearts of many dog lovers. With over 33,000 new dog registrations, they placed sixth most popular breed of dog in the United States based on the 2007 American Kennel Club statistics. They are definitely lovable dogs that will steal your heart and will make you want to have one to cuddle, to play with and to be your loyal companion. Some particular dog of this breed make use of their fine qualities that made them gain popularity among the others.

Arnulf Grandenz - Arnulf Grandenz is the first Boxer dog that was bred in America by James Welch. It was in 1904 when the American Kennel Club registered the first Boxer dog and that was Arnulf.

Deego Aegis - Deego Aegis is an anthromorphic Boxer humanoid in the video game, Rogue Galaxy. He is an Ex-Longuardian soldier from the Mining Plant Vedan and a friend to Jaster Rogue, the main character of the game. Jaster along with Deego and their other friends battle with enemies when both parties discover the secrets to reach the Eden, the legendary planet with vast amounts of treasure and the people that live there are immortal.

Wilson - Wlson is one of the talking alien dogs from the movie "Good Boy". He is one of the dogs Owen walks. Owen, the main character in the story, works as a neighborhood dog-walker so he can earn the privilege of getting a dog of his own.

Bomber - Bomber is a boxer dog who was put to sleep by its previous owners because he didn't quite fit to the Kennel Club standards for boxer dogs. He appeared in the UK television series Oliver Twist in which he was made to look flea bitten, dirty and covered in sores.

George - His strange expressions made him ideal to appear in media advertisements in 1990s. He became so popular, had a fan club, became a household name and even appeared at public functions and schools.

Brandy - Brandy is a boxer dog with 17-inch tongue and was features on Ripley's Believe It Or Not because of that. She was shown on television performing antics such as eating from a bowl 13 inches away. According to the owner, John Scheid, Brandy likes sunbathing and even gets tan lines on her tongue.

Solo - Solo is a boxer dog who received hate mail. It was in 1982 when Solo received a letter saying: I think you are the ugliest dog I have ever seen." The letters continue to come probably intended to upset the owner, Joyce Lang.
