Common causes of blisters include friction and burns. If the blister isn't too painful, do everything possible to keep it intact. Unbroken skin over a blister provides a natural barrier to bacteria and decreases the risk of infection. Cover a small blister with an adhesive bandage, and cover a large one with a porous, plastic-coated gauze pad that absorbs moisture and allows the wound to breathe.

Wear shoes that don’t rub. No really go to the nearest pharmacy store and purchase all the foot creams; ointments after u bust the blisters.

Try to make a small hole on the blister, like with a needle? And then squeeze the liquid out. That way you won't have a scar and the skin will fall out by itself well, just let it sit and it will go away in about a week. Plus put band aids over the spots you get them. it will prevent getting them.

Hydrotherapy is always a very good home treatment to use on blisters, sores, etc. Putting a cool cloth on the blister helps relieve the pain and itching. Good old dandelion is another excellent home treatment to get rid of those blisters quickly. The fluid or sap in the dandelion stem is full of vitamin A, which speeds healing.

Don’t use any dandelion stems that have been spread with pesticide. To apply, split the stems, put the sap on the blister, and cover it with a bandage. Do this once a day. Another treatment to rid blisters is to use the sap from the aloe Vera plant and put it directly on the blister, doing this once a day will speed up the healing.

Blister Beetles get their name from the fact that they contain a toxin called cantharidin that will make your skin break out in blisters if you come in contact with it. Usually you would need to touch a crushed beetle to break out, but some people can have an allergic reaction just from touching one of the beetles. The blister beetles in my garden ate a lot of tomato foliage, but the most disgusting part about them was that they left huge droppings behind as well!

Putting ice on anything helps to constrict the capillaries surrounding the wound, thus reducing the amount of blood that can get to the wound, which in turn reduces the amount of swelling that occurs. If you can reduce the swelling of a wound before your body can react, the chances of avoiding a blister are increased greatly.

Puncture the blister in two separate places, and push lightly on the blister with the blunt side of the pin to push the fluid out.

Some medications have blisters as a side effect. Medications that regulate water retention may result in blisters. There are also medications that cause sensitivity to sunlight and over exposure to the sun may cause the patients skin to blister. There are a few severe reactions that involve blistering to drugs such as penicillin. This is called toxic epidermal necrolysis syndrome and as blisters spread over 30 percent of the body, can be life-threatening.
