Dynamic pages are often associated with no or little indexing by the search engine spiders.

Why is it so? Why don't the spiders easily index a dynamic page as a static page?
Static pages have content that do not change unless they are changed in the html code by the webmaster. The links is static and thus spiders can easily index these pages.Html sites are greatly accepted by search engine crawlers. In the case of dynamic pages the content displayed is according to the search term or query typed. Dynamic websites are driven by huge data base and when any information is required the database is searched and accordingly the results are displayed .Dynamic websites are quick and carry huge information, therefore they are visitors favorite. Some of the examples of dynamic websites are shopping carts, whole sale websites etc. These websites are easy to maintain for the webmasters as it only requires changes or editing the data bases for changes in profiles, pictures, content, prices or any other information, instead of editing or updating individual products. Dynamic websites are also categories with big URLS and having? =&+_ characters. Since the URL is long and also has special characters; it makes the spider impossible to index the links. Some get stuck because they can't supply the information the site needs to generate the page.

Therefore spiders usually avoid indexing of dynamic pages as they have the fear of getting trapped. The cookie data, session id, or a query strings are such terms that the search engine spiders are afraid of.

Below is an example of a dynamic URL:
http://www.somesites.com/forums/thread.php?threadid=12345&sort=date
Look closely at the URL The question mark after /thread.php? Most search engine spiders get to the "?" in the query string and stop indexing because of the probability of getting caught in a spider trap.
Therefore dynamic pages are not friendly with search engine spiders.

How to solve the problem.
Dynamic pages cab easily is indexed if the links of such pages are present on a static page. It is usually advised that for promotion of dynamic website a static page is developed with content and links of all the important pages on it. Links can also have some description written below.
