I Miss My Best Friend

                                                                                         

I miss my best friend, it was really hard leaving her when we moved back to Minnesota. We stay in contact via phone & e-mail, but it is not the same at all.

You know it is not often in life you meet a friend you click with so well & can call your best friend. The funny thing is we can be such opposites at times. Maybe thats why our friendship works so well, because we off set each other a little bit.

I never had such a blast with any friend in my life, people would say we were crazy or having way to much fun, in a good way.

We worked together for about 2 years at The Ledger newspaper in Florida. I actually looked forward to going to work just because of my best friend. We would make people laugh that normally wouldn't even smile. We made each other laugh or just laughed at each. Don't get me wrong we were both very hard workers & did a great job at our place of work.

We have seen each other through some hard & sad times & always managed to keep the other on track & finding the lighter side of things.

I guess the hardest most heartbreaking part is that even if we helped her with a plane ticket to come here, she could never really afford to take the time off work. She is a single mom of 4 children, you do the math. We will really never be able to see each other as much as we would like. Oh how I miss my best friend.
