American Idol Gives Back

                                                                                         

Let me first start out by saying my family & I are huge Idol fans.

American Idol Gives Back, well here is something I have a little bit of an issue with. Don't get me wrong I think it is great that they are giving money to those in need.

They say they give money to America & Africa. I just think it should be more for our own country, then somewhere else. If our country didn't have so many issues right now & as a whole we could afford to do so it would be great.

We have so many issues in our own country. In the USA look at how many programs they are cutting out of schools & how many schools they keep closing, do to lack of funds. Not to mention the homeless, the ailing & sick that can't even efford medical insurance. So much poor & poverty right here. People living pay check to pay check & barely being able to support themselves let alone their families. This is just a few things that go on here every day that people need funds & help for.

I figure that if people had that kind of money to donate for all these causes around the world, why can't they start by helping their neighbor.

My heart strongly goes out to the children in Africa, but my heart bleeds for our people who are struggling & dying here.
