IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SEEN THIS MOVIE & PLAN TO DO SO, DO NOT READ ABOUT THE ENDING.

Okay half way through the movie my husband & I were saying we should buy this movie. Of course to watch again when our 2 year old would be asleep.

It kept us on the edge of our seats, special effects were pretty good, we liked the actor's in it, very intense, etc. Not for those of you that have weak stomachs though, quite a bit of gore & blood.

THEN THE FRIGGIN ENDING, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know I really didn't & don't understand the ending of the movie. I never read the book, so if this was the original ending they could have changed it a little. I mean I can see wanting a twist at the end, but that was stupid & crazy, just plain aweful.

They took the people all through out the whole movie, the ones that were the suvivors, the smart ones, the ones that kept it together & had them give up sooooooo easy at the end. They couldn't even wait 15 minutes to see what was going to happen, before making the choice they did to end it & here help was right around the corner.

People can say well they didn't know if help was coming, yes but when you see the big creature just passing over your truck & one of the spiders did the same thing prior to that. It showed something different was going on. Seeing how the creatures were so blood thirsty through out the movie.

Then to show the little boys face right before his father is going to shoot them all. After to see the fathers complete horror & sickness & torture over what he has done. He realizes he didn't have to shoot his son & everyone else to keep them safe. Help was there & he wouldn't have had to do it at all.

The end of the movie left me feeling sick to my stomach, depressed, total shock & just plan ticked off at the people who made the movie. No matter how much I told myself & out loud it was only a movie.

It was so bad to us my husband & I said we will not buy the movie or ever watch it again with an ending like that. It was the way they did it, because don't get me wrong I have seen some pretty bad endings in other movies. The only way I would ever watch it again, would be if they released a dvd with an alternate ending that you could pick at the beginning of the movie which version you wanted to watch.

I hope they cut their noses off to spite their faces & not get the revenue over & over, because people wont want to watch it twice.
