The Umpiring Rights for the Indian premier league are gone for an astonishing amount of $106 million. They are bought by the liquor king Dr.Vijay Mallaya.
He said that he is happy to grab the rights as this advertisement would publish their Brand value than any other. They are given rights to paste their brand name on the costumes of the empires on the filed and also for the third umpire signal.
Dr.Vijay Mallaya said that they are going to present the umpires with a unique style on the field to represent brand style.
Lalit Modi the chairmen of the Indian Premier League said that he is happy that an International brand grabbed the rights. This brand also owns a Formula one team and Tennis Tournament.
The Indian Premier League is scheduled to begin from April 18th and lasts for about 44 days with 59 matches in the schedule.
This league will provide 117 hours of family entertainment. The matches are scheduled such that they are conducted in the evening's times so as to encourage the stadium viewers.
There will be a total of eight teams from which four teams will be selected to the semifinals where they fight for the finals. The winners in the finals will grab the cup along with the prize money of $2 million.
