Mother’s day 2008 is here with tons of opportunities to make your mothers feel special. Yet another excuse to say “ thank you” to the woman who gave you birth, the one whose womb you took shelter in for nine months, to the woman from whom you borrowed your flesh and blood, who fed you and spend sleepless nights when the infant-you could not sleep all night. She did all these to you without expecting anything in return from you.

Now, when you are grown up enough to read this article, it’s your turn to make her feel special. One can never match a Mother's selfless love, but we can make her feel that she did not cast her pearls before the worthless. Do something special on Mothers Day 2008, to make her feel that her child appreciates her. There's no better way to show your gratitude ness to your mothers for what she did for you all her life than by celebrating Mothers Day to make her feel really special. Although, she least expected mothers day gifts from you while holding you as a kid, prove that you are grateful enough to show some love in return.

Also show some love to all mothers who live far away from their children but whom you meet daily for some reason. May be they live in your locality, or you know some lady who is a mother at office or at the gym or at the jogger's park. Love doesn’t cost a thing! Even those fake pop stars know that love don't cost a thing. So please take that time out. I know many of us have the desire to do things for others and not for ourselves, but taking that first step from our end seems like a battle. Sometimes shyness acts as a barrier.

Lets break free from shackles on Mothers Day 2008 and reach out to all mothers, whether you’re own or somebody else's (someone you adore as a Mother). Make them feel precious; make them feel it is only for them that so many of us exist. It’s for them so many of us (almost all of us) learned to walk, learned to talk and learned to live. I wish all mothers a very Happy Mothers Day 2008, enjoy like never before, be treated like a queen and sometimes pamper yourself. You deserve it Mothers.

To Dads, my advice for Mothers Day 2008 is to, similarly be grateful to the woman who bore your child and devote their life to bring them up. Your woman who is a mother is the one who is carrying forward your legacy and bloodline, even when you cease existing. Hats off to all women who are Mothers and dare to go through the long but extremely rewarding pregnancy period. Once again Happy Mothers Day 2008.
