Personal Care Products that actually work. As people slowly become more aware of the harmful effects of the many toxic chemical products in our lives, they are turning to natural skin care products. Such personal care products use organic and non-toxic alternatives that are free of such potentially harmful substances such as alcohol and salicylic acid. Such natural skin products can produce far more effective and long-lasting effects.


Just Because It’s “Natural”…

Before proceeding further, it’s worth noting that not all natural skin care products on the market are created equal, and do not necessarily fit the definition of “safe personal care products.” After all, foxglove, nightshade and curare are all “natural” substances – but you would hardly want to ingest them!

Truly safe personal care products are free of salicylates and alcohol, and can thus be used by virtually anyone without fear of side effects. These natural skin care products contain gentler alternatives such as witch hazel and olive oil (used in the Mediterranean countries for centuries not only as food but as a cosmetic and even a lubricant for machinery!) as well as shea butter and other quality ingredients. Those who have sensitive and/or delicate skin will experience great benefits by switching to salicylate-free anti aging skin care products and alcohol free toner for gentle cleansing and exfoliation.


What’s Beneath The Surface

Many women do not feel completely dressed without proper make-up – but this is only part of the equation. While salicylate and alcohol-free women’s personal care products include mineral-based makeup, the fact is that even make-up of the highest quality can only do so much. It’s important to have clean, healthy skin underneath the makeup, which is where salicylate-free hand and body lotion and alcohol free toner is most effective. Good moisturizers with quality, natural ingredients keep pores from becoming clogged by removing the microscopic bits of dirt that some other products miss.

This is just some of what natural skin care products without alcohol and salicylates can do for you. Unless there is some pathogenic or genetic cause (which requires the attention of a dermatologist), there is no reason why using salicylate and alcohol free natural skin care products should not help you achieve the youthful, healthy skin you deserve.
