Trivandrum, the southern tip of kerala is one of the top most centers of tourist attractions. This capital city homes a number of centers of tourist attraction. Trivandrum proudly exhibits its numerous places of historical importance and tourist centers. Trivandrum is located 8.50 N 76.90E on the West coast.

Varkala beach, Kovalam beach, Veli Beach, Shanghumugham beach, Padmanabhaswamy temple, kanakakkunnu palace, veli lagoon, Ponmudi, etc are some of the centers of attraction in Trivandrum. Kanyakumari, the southern most tip of India is just 87 kilometers from here. Kanyakumari, located in the nearby state of Tamil Nadu is a wonderful place of tourist attraction.

Trivandrum is a place of great historical importance. At early times kings and rulers ruled the center. Still now, the royal family exists here. Also, you can see palaces as you hang around this center. Trivandrum also homes numerous educational institutions. About fifteen engineering colleges, three medical colleges, two Homeopathy colleges and a number of other professional colleges are wealths of Trivandrum. In addition, the University of Kerala is situated here.

The great composer and musician, Maharaja Swathi Thirunal and the great artist Raja Ravi Varma are the products of Trivandrum. Sree chithra Art Gallery of Trivandrum exhibits the masterpieces of Raja Ravi Varma. The Napier Museum, St. Joseph Church, LMS Church and the mosque at Palayam are the wonders of this center.
