I was 32 when my frustration regarding my finances began to move me. At first, it was gentle tugs and then became spurts of anxiety (some of these so called ‘spurts’ felt more like volcanoes). These moments of desperation pushed me to begin seeking additional income. Occasionally I would see an opportunity that seemed legit, a really good deal, "a Small Investment" and a "HUGE Return" they promised me. I tried a few and got burned! The kind of burn that takes a single mom on a single income quite awhile to recover from. After a few of these, I had to stop before I continued making my already desperate situation worse.

Time went by, I was 34 and I'd had a few promotions and things were getting better but I still wasn't making enough to LIVE LIFE! I wanted to DO things like take a family vacation, upgrade my car (which was falling apart) and buy a pair of shoes because I liked them. These things were still outside my reach. The frustration had re-built enough by this time that I was ready to try again. The next great opportunity came by and I reached out, took a hold of it and gave it my best shot! I was excited, I believed it was going to work and then…no results, just more debt! Debt I couldn’t afford to have. My checking account was in the negative for months before I was finally able to surface again for breath. Anyone trying to raise children on a single income knows what I'm talking about here - you can't play to close to the edge, it will devastate you if you fall.

Then I saw the Plug-In-Profit ad. If you can imagine my hesitation, my fear, my already crushed hope that something could generate additional income for me. I’d just begun to recover from my latest fiasco and was intimidated to try anything new, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It cost a little to get started, $80 to get up and going. Training, recourses available to me 24/7, my own money making web site, it seemed too good to be true – just like all the others. Then with my heart beating, I stepped out and did it….

It was a Friday night, payday, I got home and logged on. I signed up and started the process to get my web page. I figured I would have my new web site by Monday, so I began my weekend ritual (cleaning). Saturday morning I had an email…"You’re Web Site Is Ready!" Since then, I’ve learned that occasionally things are good. I’ve been up and running for a short time and have already begun making additional income. It's a small stream, but it’s A STREAM. One that has already begun to carve itself (with a little help from me) a wider path to deliver me a steady flow of cash.

I named my web site My-ElbowRoom with great purpose. I set out to have a little room in my finances – enough to move around freely and enjoy life before it passes by. I'm already beginning to stretch my arms and relax. Soon, I'll have enough room to dance!
