When Motorola decided to come out with a cell phone that broke all the previous conventions and stood out unmistakably from all others, they succeeded admirably. Motorola’s RAZR V3, generally just referred to as a RAZR, is considered by many in the cell phone industry to be the visual epitome of advanced cell phone technology, and pioneers in the forefront of cell phone design. One thing that nobody can ignore the first time they see a RAZR is how incredibly thin it is. At only 1.4 cm thick and 5.3 cm wide, (to give you an idea of how small that is, it is the same width as a normal credit card) and a measly 9.8 cm long, it is one of the smallest and slimmest available anywhere. That distinct look is one of the major reasons the RAZR continues to increase in popularity.

In addition to its unique one of a kind style, and extremely popular appearance, the RAZR cell phone is not all flash. Motorola made sure that their product would still remain competitive in all other aspects with all other cell phones. The RAZR is still competitive in functions and performance to go along with its noticeable design innovation. The RAZR is equipped with a digital camera, along with a quality zoom that allows you to capture any moment that catches your fancy. The Motorola company brags about the RAZR user’s ability to watch MPEG video clips in bright colors, and that sound comes through a high quality polyphonic speaker sound. Even though the screen is so small, Motorola still included 3 D graphics to make for an optimal picture experience. A major part of the reason that the RAZR has been able to maintain such a strong level of technology despite its diminutive size is because of its new “Bluetooth” technology. Apparently this is along the lines of wireless technology, which is what allows such a little phone to do so much while remaining small.

Motorola has really put together a winner with this one. All too often when a cell phone company tries to present the public with some new flashy, good-looking design the phone is all flash and severely lacking in the substance category. Then all too many consumers are upset when they realize they’ve dropped a large amount of money on this flashy little thing that just does not live up to the hype. The RAZR is a quality phone that holds up to its gorgeous appearance with equal quality in usage.
