The Motorola RAZR (pronounced razor) is an amazingly thin, sheik looking cellular phone. The appearance of a RAZR is so startling that nobody can ignore it. A RAZR is half an inch thin. That’s it. The Motorola RAZR phone is one of the smallest and thinnest phones on the market. Furthermore, this phone looks good. It is made of anodized aluminum, and many consumers (not just company spokespeople) have commented that the Motorola flip phone looks and feels amazing. Among trendy web sites and discussion boards the basic consensus is that there is no dispute: The RAZR is the coolest looking phone.

Motorola has succeeded remarkably with their marketing by providing a solid product. The RAZR is incredibly thin, easily carried in any pocket because of its lack of size. The RAZR cell phone is built with special materials and finishes. The way the metal materials are blended, and finished, creates a very smooth feel that is noticeable every single time the phone is handled. Many consumers have commented on the feel and finish of the RAZR, how it is great to the touch, and beautiful to behold. The spun metal finish of the keypad is supposed to gently reflect the light. In addition, the RAZR phone also has a blue luminescence panel behind each key, which gives the phone a very unique, unmistakable signature.

Flip the phone open, and you’ll find a screen that takes most of the space that is there, and is bright enough for anything you need. The keypad is etched into a metal plate with slightly raised rubber numbers, which makes dialing easy, though some people have complained that the selector buttons above the keys are slippery and hard to use because they lack the rubber bumps that the numbers have. There is also a general consensus that the camera quality of the RAZR is actually much worse than the last model, though it is still good enough to be considered average. There is no arguing that the phone is absolutely beautiful, and the RAZR is thin, attractive, and is such a remarkably different appearance from its competition as to make it a good buy. The only other major complaint that a large number of people share: the screen tends to attract grease. Also, something to keep in mind, if you tend to easily misplace the remote control, then sheik or not, this might not be the phone for you.
