EDF and EDF Energies Nouvelles have formally agreed a development partnership in the decentralized energies market, which constitutes generation at the point of consumption, through the creation of a new equal-interest joint venture called EDF Energies Nouvelles Reparties.
EDF Energies Nouvelles Reparties (ENR) will be fully consolidated by EDF Energies Nouvelles, a 50%-owned subsidiary of EDF. The joint venture will consist of certain business activities and shareholdings related to decentralized renewable energies and energy control.
It will market an extensive range of products and services, including equipment and services for businesses, professionals and individuals, while notably leveraging a network of qualified partners in line with the approach already adopted by EDF in this field. These products and services will be marketed to individual customers under the Bleu Ciel d'EDF brand. EDF ENR will also encompass the group's business activities in equipment manufacturing, such as solar water heaters, photovoltaic modules, heat pumps and wood-fired heating equipment.
