Was Aaron idolater in the Bible?
Yes, he was

When the Israelites saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they said to Aaron: make us gods who will go before us
Aaron said to them: take off the gold earrings that your wives, your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me
He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, "These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt."
When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced, "Tomorrow there will be a festival to God (The Golden Calf)
This means that Aaron was idolater; he made The Golden Calf, built an altar for it and announced to worship it.
This story illustrates the concept of the idea of god in the eyes of the Israelites; it indicates that they looked at God as a man made being!

Exodus 32:1-6 in different Versions of the Bible

New International Version (NIV)
1 When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, "Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don't know what has happened to him."
2 Aaron answered them, "Take off the gold earrings that your wives, your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me."
3 So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron.
4 He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, "These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt."
5 When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced, "Tomorrow there will be a festival to the LORD."
6 So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings. Afterward they sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.

King James Version (KJV)
1And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
2And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
3And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
4And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
5And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.
6And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

American Standard Version (ASV)
1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.
2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden rings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
3 And all the people brake off the golden rings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
4 And he received it at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, and made it a molten calf: and they said, These are thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
5 And when Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To-morrow shall be a feast to Jehovah.
6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt-offerings, and brought peace-offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Was Aaron idolater in the Noble Quran?
NO! Never Ever.

Verses 19:51-53 of the Noble Quran says that:
Moses was devoted, a messenger, and a prophet and Allah gave him his brother Aaron a prophet.
This was in response to his Moses’ request that He [Allah] send forth his brother with him; as a helping assistant to support him facing Pharaoh.
Because Aaron was a prophet, hence he would not be at all an idolater,
By no means, on no account, not at all, in no way.
It should be emphasized that according to Quran, anyone who says or believe that Aaron or any other prophet was idolater; he will be punished severely on the Day of Judgment and he will dwell in the Eternal Fire!
But who made the Golden Calf to beguile the Israelites?
This is another story!

Verses 19:51-53 in different translations:

Verse19:51

QARIB:
Mention in the book, Moses. He was devoted, a messenger, and a prophet.
SHAKIR:
And mention Moses in the book; surely he was one purified, and he was a messenger, a prophet
PICKTHAL:
And make mention in the scripture of Moses. Lo! He was chosen, and he was a messenger (of Allah), a prophet.
YUSUFALI:
Also mention in the book (the story of) Moses: for he was specially chosen, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet.

Verse19:52

QARIB:
We called out to him from the right side of the mountain, and drew him near in (divine) conversation.
SHAKIR:
And we called to him from the blessed side of the mountain, and we made him draw nigh, holding communion (with us)
PICKTHAL:
We called him from the right slope of the mount, and brought him nigh in communion.
YUSUFALI:
And we called him from the right side of mount (Sinai), and made him draw near to us, for mystic (converse).

Verse19:53

QARIB:
From our mercy we gave him, his brother Aaron, a prophet.
SHAKIR:
And we gave to him out of our mercy his brother Aaron a prophet
PICKTHAL:
And we bestowed upon him of our mercy his brother Aaron, a prophet (likewise).
YUSUFALI:
And, out of our mercy, we gave him his brother Aaron, (also) a prophet.
