This is a usual scene from the wilderness of North America…..

On an early morning a hunter makes his way through the dense vegetation as he follows the trails of a deer. He recognizes the broken stems and a unique scent as the signs of seeing a beautiful deer grazing nearby.

He passed through the gushing springs, the beautiful pine wood trees and even through the bunch of apple trees, all in all the natural beauty of the place was simply breathtaking, but his mind was finely stuck around to his prey not on the overwhelming beauty of the hunting place.

The mind of hunter was on his prey, and even for a whisker of second he never let it blur away from his prime target. Although, there was immense natural beauty around him, but he had that wild horse (of his mind) in perfect control.

Now you might be asking me, what has happened to you Naveen, you seem to be totally out of place today.

“Please come to the point Naveen”

I am back my friends, actually this article is related to your website and your website is just like that wild hunting place of which I just talked about in the story.

Believe me or not the beautiful scene above is quite similar to the way your website visitors will normally approach your website. I am sure, you would have a list of great things to say about your products, but your online visitors come to your website with a pre-conceived notion (like i am looking for web 2.0 web design for my website) , they will look out for web 2.0 related key phrases on your website without wasting their time in reading “those self proclaimed jingo’s” on your website.

I personally think that online users behave like hunters when they are looking for particular thing on internet.

How you can reach out with your website?

Since most visitors are “hunters” you can attract more visitors by making your website a perfect hunting place on internet. Apart from that you can also use increased font sizes for your main services which would directly catch their eyes on your website’s initial glimpse.

Attract them; leave trails for them just like that deer doing it with “Hunter”. In the case with your web site you can attract your visitors by using high quality images related to your products, catchy one liner’s which will call them to act, crisp and clear navigation path will lead them to most important pages in your website.

Remember, online users are trained hunters and your website is a big hunting ground with plenty of signs of where the object of hunt will be found. If your visitors are not able to find the main object of their hunt within few seconds then they will find some other hunting ground.

The main objective of your web design company should be to design a web based hunting ground for your business that can help your visitors to what they want, and making a devout effort that they will leave fully satisfied.

It’s natural; if the hunting place is really good then they will come back again to rejoice the same old hunting pleasure.
