If you are considering buying a minivan, here are the pros and cons for that.The advantages of a minivan are manifold: it looks like a car in many ways, but has much more space for your needs. It is not really a van, as some might think that a van is too big a vehicle, but it still has a lot of space for whatever you would like to transport or to store, while there is still sufficient space to transport a lot of passengers. In addition, the minivan will offer you comfort and a smooth drive. Safety is placed on top of the list when it comes to passengers, even if the minivans are being used to transport goods as well.

On the other hand, the critics have brought up the issue with the seating in the mini vans. There are two seats in the front and the rest up till 15 are distributed in the minivan, so that there is room for storage as well. Some bad mouths say that there not always enough space for the heads of the passengers. But if you try out a ride with a minivan you will see exactly if that is true or not. The minivans have become the favorites of large numbered families. For instance the Daimler Chrysler has a lot of new attractive options, noticeable improvements and more comfortable interior. Chrysler Town and Country, Dodge Caravan and the Grand Caravan have been improved to provide more comfort and reliability. Nissan offers a redesigned model of minivan, called Quest. Toyota presents in 2007 a new minivan, the Sienna, which is an all wheel drive van. Also, Ford has put on table the offer of the Ranger in three attractive variants: the F150, F250 and the F350.

Don’t forget the Freestar, the Mercury Monterey, which are both very successful minivans from Ford. Last but not least, Honda has come up with the Odyssey as an offer for the so trendy minivans, this time the Odyssey being with a brand new design. Many of these brand new models of minivans feature all sorts of helpful things: for example the Sienna from Toyota, has a rearview camera, which will show the driver the back of the vehicle as well. There are other features that will make the ride more pleasurable; video games, music and so on. For those who want more, the minivans can also provide sky view roofs and even navigation systems that will show the driver and the passengers their route. And who said that minivans cannot offer comfort and luxury?
