From earrings to bracelets to necklaces beading and other personal jewelry making is one of the hottest crafting projects out not to mention a handy way to make a lot of extra money on the side or full time. You can take emeralds, jade, coral, onyx and turquoise and turn these precious gems into wonderful pieces of beautiful jewelry. Plus, wild and crazy beads that sell like crazy!

Don't go shrieking in horror at the thought of mass produced jewelry with visions of sweat shops in third world countries in mind. I can assure you that’s not what this article is going to discuss at all - but quite the contrary! This article isn’t about how to sell out to large corporations who want to produce your handmade jewelry in an assembly line. This is just some advice on how to make your life easier doing something that you simply love to do...jewelry making!

Many people buy handmade jewelry because they know they’re getting something unique - the only one of its kind. Many jewelry makers pride themselves creating unique jewelry that is totally handmade. Some jewelry makers often make more than one piece of the same item but these matching items are often limited in stock. With the right materials, someone can make some of the most beautiful and eye-catching jewelry the market has ever seen. Many times, there are all types of folks that will pay very high prices for these unique pieces. You don't have to be a professional to make fancy jewelry. There are many beautiful jewelry creations you can make without using any much effort even if you are a beginning jewelry maker. You can be creative and start from scratch. You can begin your jewelry making project by making your own beads! One of the most obvious materials to use to create beads is clay. There are many kinds of clay to choose from. Some use a polymer clay that they sell at craft stores. You may even choose to make your own clay.

You may also use noodles to make jewelry. This is a great idea for the younger crowd who want to make crafty jewelry. Any noodle with a hole will work and it is very easy to color and string the noodles to make your own fashionable jewelry.

The first thing that usually comes to mind when you think about jewelry making is "beads". Beads come in a variety of shapes and colors and sizes. One all time favorite is beads that are made with semi-precious stones. They are used to create projects of all kinds from earrings to necklaces to bracelets to clothing appendages. You can take emeralds, jade, coral, onyx and turquoise and turn these precious gems into beautiful pieces of handmade and unique jewelry and, many times, sell them for high prices at trade shows, malls, etc.

The internet is full of resources to find the help and guidance if you new at jewelry making. Go and have fun! It is also very relaxing as well as somewhat therapeutic for many people.
