The Middle verse in chapter (42) of the Old Testament talks about Joseph said to his brothers: If you are true men, let one of you be bound in the prison.
The Middle verse in chapter (42) of the New Testament talks about Jesus was very sad and prayed to God: "take away this cup from me"! The verse indicates that the Will of the God Father is quite different than the Will of Jesus!
The Middle verse in chapter (42) of the Noble Quran talks about 1) The enlarged provision makes man rebel in the earth, 2) Allah sends His provision to man in due measure as he pleases and 3) Allah is aware and sees his servants and He is well-acquainted, watchful.
=========

Old Testament:

Chapter 42 in the Old Testament is Genesis (42); it is composed of 38 verses.
The Middle verse is that number 19
It says:

Genesis 42:19 (King James Version)

19) " If ye be true men, let one of your brethren be bound in the house of your prison: go ye, carry corn for the famine of your houses."

This verse talks about Joseph said to his brothers: If you are true men, let one of you be bound in the prison.
Joseph was planning to take his brother out of them!

New Testament

Chapter 42 in the New Testament is Mark 14; it is composed of 72 verses.
The Middle verse is that number 36
It says:

Mark 14: 36 (King James Version)
36)" And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt."

This verse talks about Jesus was very sad and prayed to God: "take away this cup from me"! The verse indicates that the Will of the God Father is quite different than the Will of Jesus!

Also, how come that Jesus said: "take away this cup from me"! Although this cup was the Core of sending Jesus to the earth! This point is very important and needs to be well explained!

The Noble Quran:

Chapter 42 in the Noble Quran is ASH-SHURA (COUNCIL); it is composed of 53 verses.
The Middle verse is that number 27
It says:

ASH-SHURA 42:43

43) "if Allah were to enlarge the provision for his servants, they would indeed transgress beyond all bounds through the earth; but he sends (it) down in due measure as he pleases. He is well-acquainted, watchful; He is aware and sees his servants."

This verse talks about 1) The enlarged provision makes man rebel in the earth, 2) Allah sends His provision to man in due measure as he pleases and 3) Allah is aware and sees his servants and He is well-acquainted, watchful.

The verse indicates that if Allah were to extend and enlarge His provision to His servants, to all of them, they would, all of them, surely become covetous, in other words, they would become tyrants and rebel in the earth; but He sends down of provisions, in the measure that He will, thus extending it for some of His servants to the exclusion of others ; and from such extending of provision to some emerges tyranny. Surely He is Aware, Seer of His servants.
To summarize:
1- The enlarged provision makes man rebel in the earth
2- Allah sends His provision to man in due measure as he pleases.
3- Allah is aware and sees his servants and He is well-acquainted, watchful.
