Former foster child, Wanda McDowell, started an internet-based business called InfaCity. The company has launched a new way to buy and sell wedding products online: via auction. Research revealed that the average bride found it difficult to find the right vendor at an affordable price.
A nationwide survey of 500 newlyweds found that almost six-in-ten (58 percent) of newlyweds felt that having to deal with wedding costs was stressful. Results showed that 80 percent of those questioned felt that the financial aspect of their wedding planning was stressful.
InfaCity seeks to eliminate this distress among brides. We hope to make life easier for brides, wedding planners, and related businesses within the United States. InfaCity provides you with many different vendors/people within the United States who offer wedding products via an on-line auction model and via mobile. This will make it easier for the buyer to obtain quotes directly from vendors instead of having to call around.
Currently, no other auction website in the U.S. exclusively sells wedding products.
