When thinking of the fabulous city of Boston, Massachusetts a few things come to my mind.. The Boston Red Sox, The Boston Massacre, Boston Baked Beans, The Boston Tea party and The Boston Marathonwhat amazing history this city has to offer. From television shows set in the heart of Boston such as Cheers, The Practice, Alley McBeal, and Boston Legal, to children today being named for the historic city itself, Boston has something of interest for everyone.

If youre looking for Education, History, Sports, Water, Culture, great seafood or simply just touring youve come to the place that can offer it all. Spend a day on the water Whale Watching, go on a world famous Duck Tour, relax on a Harbor Cruise/Dinner Cruise/Sunset Cruise or learn all about area lighthouses on a half day or full day coastline cruise. One other possibility is to see the Tall Ships, a collection of early American schooners and clippers that are normally in Boston Harbor.

If Education is your focus make sure you visit Harvard University, Berklee College, Boston University or any school of your choice for a personal tour. Boston is home to more colleges and universities than any other city in the United States. Add in a Museum of preference of study or visit one of the many Libraries. Add in a little down time with a professional ballgame on the court or on the field. The Red Sox are one of the most-storied franchises in the history of Major League Baseball and the Celtics have won more World Championships than any other NBA team.

Dining options are unlimited. Bakeries, Cafés, Steak Houses, BBQ and of course Seafood is the most requested. Make sure you save some time for shopping at Faneuil Hall, tour Fenway Park or the New Mapparium. Take a Trolley Tour or visit the New England Aquarium and dont forget about Bunker Hill where the monument commemorates the important Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17th, 1775.

Of course you cant visit Boston without seeing the location of the ever famous ride of Paul Revere or strolling down the Freedom Trail marked throughout the city by a painted red line which includes scenes of critical events in Boston and the nation's struggle for freedom. The 3-mile trail is a walking tour of 16 sites and structures of historic importance in downtown Boston and covers two and a half centuries of America's most significant past. Since the past and the present live alongside the Trail, those who visit have the opportunity to see the City as it truly is.

So as you prepare for your next class trip or group vacation, remember the rich American Heritage that this city has to offer. Boston is the destination you dont want to miss out on. Call a Group Travel Specialist for more detailed information about your trip planning.
