The market of fashion mobiles in booming with the passage of everyday. At times is the colours that creates ripple, while at other times the shapes and the make that forms the stories. One handset in this fashion genre is the Nokia 8800 and the device has scaled industry verticals not for one reason, but for a host of features it has to offer.

The Nokia 8800 sensuous slider phone that comes garbed in a stainless steel casing. This makes the handset a little heavy, but a the same time the device exudes a sophisticated, sleek and attractive picture. The front fascia is dominated by a high resolution screen. Which means viewing of pictures and videos become a bright and colourful experience. The best part about the screen is that the device is scratch resistant to ensure that the beauty and durability is maintained.

On opening the device, the Nokia 8800 reveals a camera at the back and an impressive keypad at the front. But there is some disappointment so far the camera is concerned. The camera is of mere 0.5 MP and seems like a favour, in this age of 5 MP camera. But the keypad is quite useful and typing becomes an hassle free experience.

The Nokia 8800 comes with the advantage of Bluetooth and the only means of connecting to the outside world. This is so because the device is devoid of Wi-Fi. Its a little strange that under such conditions, why is the device packed with a cabled headset.

Besides the designing excellence, the Nokia 8800 also comes with good options for connectivity. It includes GPRS, EDGE and GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz for data and voice connectivity. Furthermore, the Nokia 8800 offers 64 MB of internal memory, handsfree speaker, XHTML browser, polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. The device has a talk time of 3 hours and a standby time of 8 days.
