No matter what type of sport you happen to be into, it's always a great idea to have a camera available. You just never know when you might want to capture a moment for remembering at a later date. This used to be a big pain in the AS@, at least as far as I was concerned, but not any longer. With all of the advances in technology, digital cameras are the way to go. Gone are the days of having to take film to the store, and then waiting a week for your pictures. Now we all simply take the pictures with a digital camera, and bam! The picture can be looked at instantly. If you want a hard copy, simply print one off of your printer.
What's your sport? Golf, fishing, hiking, backpacking, baseball, etc, it makes no difference. The point is that having a camera on hand is always a good idea. I personally love to go hiking and some of the scenery I encounter simply has to be captured for memories. I'm also a big fisherman. I don't keep any of the fish I catch though; I practice catch and release fishing. It's integral that I have a camera to help me with my fish stories.
I used to think that digital camera's were incredibly expensive, but have come to realize that there are very affordable digital cameras available. I suppose this makes sense, it's just that it had never occurred to me. Digital cameras cameras are quite small, when compared to traditional cameras, which is very convenient. The bottom line is that whatever type or sport or recreation you're in to, a digital camera should be taken along for the ride.
With all of the advances in technology, digital cameras have become affordable enough for every budget. They are also small enough to be easily carried no matter what sport is your favorite. Hikers, for example, can easily fit most any digital camera into a fanny pack. If you're a snowboarder, most any digital camera will fit into a jacket pocket. If you don't have one already, then get your hand on a digital camera so you can begin capturing all of those sports memories.
