It boosts immune system of an individual giving him strength to fight with different kinds of ailments that are commonly found these days. Exercise can prevent and reverse age-related decreases in muscle mass and strength, improve balance, flexibility, and endurance, and decrease the risk of falls in the elderly. It helps in reducing the chances of getting coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity, and high blood pressure. The exercises undertaken for weight reducing or weight bearing exercises can help an individual to lower the risk of getting osteoporosis extending strength to bones. Exercises help in preventing the chances of getting chronic arthritis. Regular exercise can help increase self-esteem and self-confidence, decrease stress and anxiety, enhance mood, and improve general mental health. Hence, it has been stated that exercises proves to be beneficial in boosting health of an individual letting him avoid most of the common ailments.
