Admit it – you have a problem. You’re wedded to your laptop; you refuse to leave town without it. In fact, when you were doing your research for Vacation Rentals in Puerto Vallarta, you looked for something that had high-speed, wifi internet access. So what if Banderas Bay is just outside your window? Who cares about the shops, the restaurants, the zip lines and whale watchers? All you need to stay in your comfort zone is a regular and reliable internet fix.

No one here but us WWW nuts
It takes a big (or sane) person to leave the world wide web behind, even for a week or two, and you’re willing to admit you’re not one of those. So when you get to town and start asking around for connectivity, you can look forward to one of two responses: “What’s wrong with you, man?” or “I know this great internet café just down the street.”

Welcome to Puerto Vallarta, seaside resort and home of some very nice cyber cafes. You’ll find them scattered throughout town, from Marina Vallarta to El Centro and on to the Zona Romantica. Travelers report that they’re everywhere, in fact, and the further away you get from the hotel zone, the less you’ll pay for access.

  • Break free from your ties to other internet junkies. A few local bars can set you up with a connection, and all you need to do is buy a beer. Que?Pasa, at Aquiles Sedan 625 advertises free wifi when you buy a drink; you might as well get a burger to keep your strength up.

  • Her fans say Dee’s Coffee Co. (Rodolfo Gomez 120 in the Zona Romantica) makes a great cup of coffee and superior cinnamon rolls, and you can let your sticky fingers check your email while you eat. Small price to pay to stay abreast of the cyber world.

  • Starbucks is everywhere, even in Puerto Vallarta. The store at the Peninsula Plaza offers wifi internet service, and reports are that you’ll find business types in there all the time, typing away. Pity them.

  • PV Café.com at Olas Altos 250 has a good reputation as a friendly place for internet folks. And they apparently serve a mean pineapple daiquiri – you might want to hold off on that, though, until you get your online business finished and you log off.

Understand, this is not an endorsement of your internet tendencies. Hopefully, though, it will set your mind at ease about Vacation Rentals in Puerto Vallarta: yes, you can Tweet from here.
