Majority of Dubai population is made up of foreigners, most of them expatriates and a considerably large number of tourists and foreign businessmen as well. A city that hosts so many foreigners must be having world class restaurants in abundance, for the convenience of people touring Dubai from different regions of the world. Generally, a restaurant is rated on the basis of price, quality of food, location, environment and hygiene. Some restaurants are preferred over others in accordance with the nature of dinner, which might be a business dinner, family banquet, friendly feast, or a dinner with your spouse. A restaurant that is ideal for business dinners may possibly be a bad choice for friend's get together; similarly a great place to hang out with your buddies can not offer an exquisite candlelight dinner.

Following are some restaurants, which are worth visiting because of their food quality, setting or Menu.

Noble House:
The atmosphere and overall setting is marvelous, known for its Chinese cuisine, Noble House is located at Raffles, Dubai. A little bit on expensive side, therefore it may not be a good choice if you are a regular at dining out. Still, Noble House is a great place to go every once in a while.
Aangan:
Most of the Dubai expatriates have their origins in South Asian countries, so it makes sense if most restaurants serve Indian or Pakistani food. Among so many restaurants it's hard to single out one, still if we have to, then Aangan will be a safe bet. Aangan Dhow Palace at Bur Dubai is one of the most preferred restaurants when it comes to Indian cuisine.
Beachcombers:
It is situated near a place that probably no tourist could afford to miss i.e. Burj Al Arab. "Beachcombers" offers quite a variety of food with a focus on Asian cuisine. Considering its surroundings, prices are quire reasonable as well.
Shabestan:

If you are looking for a change from the normal Indian or Chinese cuisine, Shabestan is the place to go. It offers Persian (Iranian) food with peaceful settings at a very reasonable price. Shabestan is located at Dubai Deira Creek, in case you decide to pay it a visit.

Blue Elephant:

Blue Elephant has its branches in other regions as well, in Dubai it is situated at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel. Blue Elephant is famous for its Thai food and lovely atmosphere. Don't forget to try the deserts, if you happen to go there.
