Those who are looking for a stay in Dubai are often confused whether to buy a living space or to rent a property in Dubai. While investing in property seems to be a lucrative option, considering the high resale value such properties command in a place like Dubai, they are often deterred by the high costs involved. On the other hand to renting property in Dubai seems to be a very economical solution for getting attractive houses, villas and apartments in this happening city. So much so that now the monthly rent of these properties is far less than the monthly instalments.

The longevity of the stay

If you just want to stay in Dubai for a short period say 4 to 5 years, it will be much better if you just rent property in Dubai instead of purchasing it. However, if you want to settle down and make Dubai your permanent address, it will make sense to start paying the mortgage instead of rent.
