Have you decided to build a website for your Internet business? Do you have a business mind, but are not skilled at creating websites? If so, you may have consulted website design experts. While this may seem like a logical choice, it is not the best option out there. Website designers can create esthetically pleasing websites, but the website yields no profit. This can be the downfall of your Internet business.

A website designer is often set in their ways. They have specific ideas about what a website "should" look like. These designs are based on their training and work for standard corporate/personal websites. However, these standards do not necessarily apply to an Internet business.

There are several reasons why a website designer may tell you to build a website in a certain manner. One reason is that they don't know how an Internet business works. They most likely have never run a successful Internet business. Therefore, you need to seek out the design methods of a successful Internet entrepreneur. You need to find an Internet entrepreneur that has built websites that brought in over $50,000. These Internet entrepreneurs exist.

On the other hand, try seeking out a website designer that has the same track record. Ask them to name the websites they have designed that have brought in over $50,000. You will be hard pressed to find a website designer that can even name one website that fits the bill.

How does a successful Internet entrepreneur design their website? They keep it simple. The website consist of three sites including: Branding site, Sales Letter site, and Power Squeeze site. The purpose of the Branding site is to give basic information about your business. The purpose of the Sales Letter site is to sell your product or service. The purpose of the Power Squeeze site is to capture personal information.

Top notch Internet entrepreneurs will tell you that the most important site is your Power Squeeze site. You will capture personal information to build a client list. The client list allows you build a relationship with clients. You can them promote and sell to them over and over in the future.

Many budding Internet entrepreneurs believe the myth that you need to have a product or service before you can start building a client list. This is false. Don't wait. You want to create and control markets to become extremely rich. Therefore, you want to build your list and soon as possible. You will create a relationship with customers. Once your product or service hits the market your established list will be scrambling to buy the product.
